Barak Valley mourns death of gang rape victim
SILCHAR, Dec 29: With the breaking news by the print and electronic media about the death of the 23 year old gang-rape victim in Singapore, the valley of Barak was plunged a into pall of grief and sorrow.
Mourning her death, citizens from all walks of life of the town took out a silent march which moved through the main thoroughfares of the town and assembled before the Netaji statue at Rangirkhari point here this evening.
