A critical cancer patient recovers to pen books
SILCHAR, Dec 27: Debraj Kalita (76), retired State government employee and a resident of Hengrabari, Guwahati, who was suffering from throat cancer in a critical manner, recovered well long after 16 years of treatment, first in Chennai Institute of Cancer, and finally in Cachar Cancer Hospital here. He expressed his deepest sense of gratitude to Dr Ravi Kannan, eminent onco-surgeon and Director of Cachar Cancer Hospital and Research Centre, as well as to all the doctors, and paramedical staff for all the help and cooperation and above all the well looked after treatment for his recovery to lead a normal life.
