Citizens' rights body holds biennial conference
SILCHAR, Jan 20: Second bi-annual conference of Nagarik Sartha Rakhsha Sangram Parishad was held here today at Women’s College auditorium. The conference was divided into two parts. In the morning, Haridas Dutta, secretary, presented the report, briefing different events and programmes of the organization held during last two years. At the meeting, the earlier committee of the Parishad was dissolved and a new body was formed. Tapas Sankar Dutta and Haridas Dutta remained president and secretary respectively for another two years. Shasankha Sekhar Paul was sworn in as the organizing president.
