SBI 'Sadbhavna Yatra' under ‘financial inclusion plan’

The newly introduced ‘customer’s service point’ scheme by State Bank of India (SBI) in its ‘Sadbhavna Yatra’ under ‘financial inclusion plan’ at the directive of the Reserve Bank of India is targeted to cover the entire rural population of the country by 2014. The State Bank of India in view of the enormous responsibility vested upon it has appointed Mumbai based Zero Micro Finance and Savings Support Foundation which has opened customer’s service points in many places. The SBI has given the persons looking after the service points necessary training in the proper handling of the various intricacies involved in the smooth management of services to customers.
