Swarolipi and Samakal organize Gaan Mela to welcome New Year
SILCHAR, Dec 31: When the entire Country is preparing to welcome the English new year by going to discotheque, club, pub, picnic and by stepping feet in the tunes of Hindi and English songs, the two musical groups of this town have chosen a complete different way to celebrate the occasion. The two musical groups -Swarolipi Sangeet Vidyalaya and Samakal- have organized three day long Gaan Mela (song fair) to welcome the English New Year 2013.
