Anganwadi workers ventilate their grievances
SILCHAR, Dec 15: Anganwadi workers under the banner of ‘Anganwadi Mahila Organization’, Assam, an affiliate of Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangha, have alleged that though their wages have been increased by Rs 300 by the Government of Assam, it has not yet been paid till date. In the meantime, arrears of last fourteen months have become due. Despite repeated representations to the authority concerned, the enhanced wages continue to elude them which has only added to their hardship of life.
