Bike rally to create awareness on traffic rules
SILCHAR, Jan 6: As a part of the nation wide ‘Road Safety Week’ being observed, a bike rally under the direction of NGO The Greens and organized by Silchar Press Club under the auspices of ‘Vartabhagirath Baidyanath Memorial Trust’ was held today in which different clubs, Appocels Club, Vanguard Club, Kallol Sangh and Shibari Road Kali Puja Committee among others participated.
The bike rally started from the DSA ground and after passing through Dak Bungalow Road, Janiganj, Nazirpatty, Premtola, Hospital Road, Link Road, Hailakandi Road, National Highway, Satsang Ashram Road, College Road, Ambicapatty, Jail Road, India Club Point and Trunk Road to terminate at the venue from where it started.
