Restriction on use of vehicles by candidates
SILCHAR, Jan 17: The candidates contesting for ZP members can use only two small vehicles during their respective election campaigns. As per the guidelines of State Election Commission, the Cachar Deputy Commissioner, Harendra Kumar Dev Mahanta, notified that the candidates contesting for the posts of GP president and AP member will be allowed to use only a small vehicle during their campaign, while the group member candidates will not be entertained to use any vehicles for the campaign. The notification will remain valid during the days of election campaign and on the day of poll. This information has been shared by DIPRO.
