Muslim Girls' Hostel turns into a controversial issue
SILCHAR, Jan 11: A Muslim Girls’ Hostel at Nilambazar in the district of Karimganj has become a controversial issue. There are justified reasons behind it and at the centre stage of many a question is the Border Area Development Minister, Siddeque Ahmed, who instead of laying priority on development of the areas likes to be in the vortex of controversies. After all the public outrage and outcry against the encroachment of forest land, collapse of a concrete bridge and the questionable method of construction of roads in his south Karimganj constituency funded by the Centre by his contractor brother, Mehboob Hussain, Siddeque Ahmed is now caught in yet another controversy.
